Little Bear Drive-In in Wallowa

I am fortunate to originate from this area and know this family owned and operated business very well. Little Bear has been a local favorite and of course anyone from out of area who gives it a try will not be disappointed. Fabulous ice cream, cones, shakes, finger food things like fried mushrooms, zucchini, mini tacos, etc, along with unique items like their grilled chicken wrap and if course, burgers! Yum! In the times of COVID 19 distancing, all orders must be called in and theyre staff bring your items to a clean table near the assigned parking spot. Kudos to their owner for a creaive operating plan and sticking to it. Folks should appreciate theyre hard work and dedication for tbeir staff safety and YOURS. Theyve been given some trying customers tryi,g to do so and continue to lead with a smile. Love this local icon!

Uhhh I’m confused on what just happened...I don’t know if the foods good or not because the front lady with braids just literally refused to give me service. It was the most randomnly rude encounter that I can remember. She wouldn’t take my order and started raising her voice directing me to leave and get away from her deck when I attempted to ask questions. A verbal argument followed as she claimed I walked up looking homeless and was argumentative even though I just walked up and asked her what case on the bear burger? No clue what her deal was but she is simply a terrible person I’m guessing....

Our new favorite burger place in Oregon. Just one more thing to look forward to when we visit Wallowa Lake! Make sure to time your trip so that you pass through the little town of Wallowa at lunch or dinner time! Amazing bacon burger and mushroom burger - juicy and delicious with just the right amount of sauce, shredded lettuce and tomatoes. Waffle fries were big and crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Onion rings were "real" onion rings! Nice thick cut slices of onion inside a super crunchy batter. Also very friendly staff! 🤗 We'll be back next year, Little Bear! Thanks for the amazing lunch today!

This is the best place to stop on the way to/from Wallowa Lake. Been stopping by for years just to get the creamy soft serve ice cream. Can't beat it! Food is great too, burgers are tasty. I just wish they had better fries but everything else is great! Go with a bit of time on your hands because getting food varies every time

This spot is the one I like best. I go to many restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The team is very warm and the cuisine they offer is so flavorful. I would always prefer to have a decent dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

I know they get kudos for their milkshakes, which are excellent. I had butter pecan, my husband had chocolate peanut butter. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was honestly the best I have ever had. It was so dang good, I just couldn't believe it. No preformed dense meat here. This was a real patty, tender and delish. I believe the meat is locally sourced. The onion rings were good but a bit greasy for my taste. The five stars are for the burgers and shakes. Dont just drive by, stop and treat yourself!

I have been going to the Little Bear as long as I can remember. Maybe 60 years! Friendliest service and yummy hamburgers! :)

the vibes are not immaculate. first off, they were being kinda rude like 💀... for what? also, they were not wearing masks, and corona uhhhhhh is a thing.

In this weird time with a lot of restrictions and concerns, Little Bear still had great friendly service and we're extremely sanitary in the way they delivered food. The food was amazing and I look forward to going again. Their milkshakes are the best!

Great customer service and relatively quick food preparation. We got there about 10 minutes before they were scheduled to close and I got there right as about 4 more cars pulled up, and they didn’t close on any of us. They served us all good meals, at pretty low prices.

Small town goodness. Friendly owners, HUGE servings, and great down home cooking of all your Drive-in Americana inspired favorites. From the burgers to the shakes- all served with smiles- this multigenerational local family biz gets it right and is worth the stop on the way to the lake, or even just for a drive out to eat here.

Wonderful wonderful, good tasty food. The Oregon mulit berry shakes are the best. I always like to go to the places that write the menu with a marker. The family business is the best to patronize.
